The Good Cookie Bakery is the brainchild of Rob Grayson, Casa Esperanza’s Development Director. Rob was a former cooking school teacher & professional baker.
Men & women living at Casa Esperanza Homeless Center are encouraged to find employment so they can move forward. But often this is easier said then done. When you’re homeless, have no references or resume – who is going to hire you? Finding opportunities for these men and women is a difficult task – that is why we decided to create our own opportunities.
In April 2010 The Good Cookie Bakery was launched! Currently the bakery offers 4 delicious flavors of cookies and a selection of gift boxes that can be sent anywhere in the U.S.
And we only use the best stuff in our cookies!

Chocolate Chip’n In – A truly classic cookie made with the the finest ingredients including Callebaut chocolate chips and real butter! Simple – Natural – Delicious!
Oatmeal, Yes We Cran! – When it came to making an amazing oatmeal cookie we knew it was just a matter of using the best ingredients and believing that anything was possible. Our oatmeal cookie is filled with chewy oatmeal, crunchy pecans, and sweet cranberries. Over and over our bakers chanted… Yes We Cran!
Peanut Butter Days Ahead – Give a dog peanut butter and see how happy it makes him. Well, the same can be said for humans and our ultimate peanut butter cookies. This cookie is made with peanut butter that is free from any additives. We blend this with sweet honey and wholesome wheat germ for a cookie that will be sure to put a smile on your face!
Double Chocolate Cherrity – A double dose of rich Callebaut chocolate and all natural dried cherries give this cookie a chewy chocolaty cherry flavor that will make you feel philanthropic!
